A Clean Plate Local and Organic Grocery is located in Menahga, Minnesota. Along with being a full-service natural grocery, we also have fresh local produce in season! We’d love to have you stop by and check out our selection. See for yourself!

We - Wayne and Julie - would like to welcome everyone to A Clean Plate Local and Organic Grocery. It has been really enjoyable getting to know our customers, and finding out your wants and needs. Our goal is to help you, our friends and neighbors, find fresh and healthy food that tastes great. Our product line will change and grow as we continue to find the best mix for our friends.

A Clean Plate Local and Organic Grocery can be found one block east of Highway 71 in Menahga, Minnesota.

Starting A Clean Plate...

Over the years our family has experienced health problems, food intolerances, and weight issues. Wayne began walking/running to lose weight. As he began to compete in longer races he started eating better. After reading Michael Pollan’s book, In Defense Of Food, we began to think more about our food and how it was being produced. Wayne decided that instead of working at a conventional grocery store, he wanted to be selling really healthy food, and that is how A Clean Plate began…

Produce

Our produce section features both local and organic fruits and vegetables.

Dairy & Frozen

Choose from local A2 milk, butter and goat dairy products.

Meat

The freezer section is full of local and natural pork, beef, bison, fish and poultry.

Grocery

The grocery section covers everything; canned goods, baby foods, and munchies.

Bulk Room

We have a large selection of bulk grains, dried fruit, spices and teas.

Household

Houseold products include soaps, paper products, and reusable cleaning cloths.

High Quality Food and Cleaning Products!

Small town family ownership. Love it. Such a great little place with awesome, high quality food/hygiene/cleaning products! My favorite probiotic is here and I buy it in BULK!!! Purple bottle. Virgin coconut probiotic. Best thing ever. God bless! Keep being amazing!
